Gallery Talks - AAAHS 50th Anniversary


This talk will discuss how coats of arms arose and how heraldry has crept into everyday day life, starting by pointing out coats of arms on display in the museum and then move to the town in general and relate heraldry to pub signs and football shirts, banks and so on.

Time: 11:30 am and 1:30 pm (talks will last for 30 to 40 minutes)

Location: Kempster Room (lift and wheel chair accessible).

Admission: FREE (Donations are gratefully received)

Accessibility: The Kempster Room is located in the museum's basement and is accessible by steps from the rear of the building, or the lift at the west side of the museum exterior. The basement has wheelchair access.
