1917: The Nonviolent Russian Revolution

Tuesday, 20 February 2018 - 8:00pm

Abingdon Peace Group are delighted to welcome Mil Rai who is an editor of Peace News.  He is also a trainer  in non-violent direct action.

His new book highlights the crucial role of mass nonviolent action in the Russian Revolution 100 years ago.

The role of mass nonviolent action - in the streets, in the factories, on the railways, and in the barracks - in the making of the revolution, has never been properly emphasised – until now.
