Archaeological Landscapes with Roger Thomas

Roger Thomas, Chairman of Abingdon Archaeological and History Society and also from University of Oxford School of Archaeology is course director of this one-day course.

Eight knowledgable speakers will present information on the Romano-Britsih settlement of the Thames and Berkshire Downs; Anglo-Saxons between Abingdon and Dorchester; Bridge Farm, Sutton Courtenay and Appleford; gravel extraction's effects; landscape changes including Great Western Park, new developments and infrastructure and the effects.
