Kids Craft session with Robert Strange 12 – 2pm 30th May in the Sessions Gallery. Taking inspiration from his vivid drawings of sweet wrappers and discarded items, kids can create colourful paper works with guidance from the artist himself. FREE (donations suggested at £1 per person) Why not drop in to meet Robert Strange on Saturday 2nd June and find out about the inspiration and technique behind this exhibition of work. 10.30 to 3pm. Sunday 15th April 2018 Exclusive 'MG made in Abingdon' book signing by Bob Frampton on Sunday 15th April (10am - 3pm) to coincide with the opening of the new temporary exhibition 'Automotive/Design: Innovations at MG Abingdon.' On this day you can have your copy of 'MG Made in Abingdon' signed by its author Bob Frampton. If you don't already have one, copies will be available to purchase in the museum shop for £14.99.

Green man, workshop, abingdon, things to do, adult craft

Visitors are invited to take part in a fantastic workshop 'Create a Green Man Wall Plaque' at Abingdon Museum on 27th February this year. The workshop is a once-only event linked to the popular Myth, Mystery and Music exhibition currently displayed in the Sessions Gallery at the Museum in the town centre.  Tickets can be booked in advance on 01235 523703, or from the museum reception.
