There are exciting plans drawn up to develop the Guildhall into a studio arts cinema complex and place it at the heart of the cultural life of Abingdon-on-Thames. Over the past two months the Town Council and Guildhall staff have been exhibiting and talking to the residents of the town to show them what the ideas are for this new era in the building's history. Overwhelmingly the responses have been postive and people genuinely excited.      To find out more about the plans in detail click here to go to our dedicated website.

Published on: 29 Jun 2013
"Perfect day - great atmosphere" was the verdict of shoppers and stallholders today at the Local Excellence Market held on the Market Place.
