People living in and around Abingdon-on-Thames are being urged to help forge its future. Everyone in the area is invited to get involved with the Community Led Plan that the Town Council agreed to support at last night’s Council meeting. The community led planning process enables residents to develop a shared vision for the long-term sustainability of the community and how it should develop over the next five to ten years. Learn to Draw abingdon museum art pencil sketch workshop

Abingdon Museum welcomes artist Kate Hammersley who will be conducting a series of workshops over four weeks in April entitled Learn to Draw. The workshops will provide beginners and aspiring drawers a chance to learn essential techniques, such as creating compositions and developing textures - taking inspiration from the museum and its collections.  Details of the course may be found at http://www.abingdon.gov.uk/event/arts-culture-heritage/learn-draw with the first date Saturday 1st April.
