Britain’s newest Pride comes to Britain’s oldest town on Saturday 22nd June 2019. Abingdon Pride takes place on Saturday 22nd June and will include: Entertainment and stalls on the Market Place from 10am  to 5pm. Please note, now that the fishing season is nearly here, that it is essential for all anglers to carry a permit to fish the town waters. To get a fishing permit please call in to the Information Centre which is located in Abingdon Museum between 10.00 am and 3.00 pm Tuesday to Saturday. You MUST obtain a fishing permit tomorrow if you would like to fish the first day of the Season on Sunday. You must also have an Environment Agency rod licence to fish.
