Please see below from the Vale of White Horse District Council:  Residents are being asked to comment on the location of polling stations that are used for elections in South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse. The councils are carrying out a review of the polling districts and polling places to help ensure that they meet the needs of voters. All views are welcome, and the council is especially keen to hear from disabled residents and those who have experience of assisting disabled people with access requirements. Abingdon Information has been hosted in a number of locations over the years and for the last year has been located in the first floor Sessions Hall at the County Hall Museum.  This has meant that the office was inaccessible to anyone who has difficulty with stairs.  Consequently the information centre will move back to the Guildhall shortly, being located on the ground floor room at the Town Council’s Roysse Court offices. Abingdon Flood Defences - Proposals for Temporary Flood Barrier Abingdon Town Council has organised a meeting with the Environment Agency (EA) at which the EA will update residents on their work in relation to Abingdon Flood Defences and outline their proposals for a temporary flood barrier.
