Information & Advice

In Abingdon-on-Thames there are still a range of places where you can get information or advice from a friendly face, not just a computer screen. Some services will have to move to telephone support during 2020 and 2021 dependng on government guidelines.

Whether its bus times and opening times, help with family problems or some information about the town or the local services, there are a number of organisations you can turn to in the town centre. Read the descriptions below to see which ones will be of most use to you.

A Safe Places scheme operates in all local towns. Look for a yellow and orange sticker when you or a friend or relative needs to find a friendly face - for instance if someone is feeling vulnerable, lost, unwell.

Health and emergencies are dealt with in a different section - click here to get emergency numbers.
