Community-your Abingdon

There is a lot to do in Abingdon-on-Thames, much of it arranged by community groups and other voluntary bodies.

This town website is the official site of the town of Abingdon.

It has input from all parts of town as people submit events for the diary for the year ahead or add to the directory of societies and things to do. Volunteer townspeople are working on the excellent history information throughout the year. Do you have any unique knowledge from the recent or distant past? Let's make the information on people and places as complete as possible.

These pages include information about groups you can join for activities and interests and public events. There are resources of use to you if you are an active member of a community group. It is worth looking more than once as there are new initiatives throughout the year.
